Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
The Taylor Conservatory Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization incorporated in the State of Michigan, 2005. Our mission is creating beautiful public spaces, promoting the arts and sciences, and preserving our natural environment. We promote positive community outcomes with its programs designed for a multitude of social, educational, and environmental needs.

Santa's Magic Forest
Santa's Magic Forest is Downriver's premiere holiday display and is open approximately from Thanksgiving Weekend through Christmas each year. It is houses at the Activities Building in Heritage Park, and is run by volunteers to benefit of the Downriver Fish & Loaves Food Pantry.

Pump It Up!
Pump It Up is the pioneer in birthday party entertainment. Founded in Pleasanton, California in 2000, it was an immediate success, allowing parents to host children’s parties in a private, safe and clean environment. Due to its popularity, Pump It Up began franchising in 2002. Today, Pump It Up is a favorite place with centers across the country. It has set the industry standard for indoor inflatable safety, while providing communities with a fun and healthy family activity.

Zap Zone
Zap Zone is Taylor's premier spot for family fun, featuring multi-level, state-of-the-art laser tag arenas. This is a place to play with your children, not just watch them play. There are plenty of other activities too, including the latest arcade games. No reservations required. Remember we open early during school breaks and holidays.

Midway Sports & Entertainment
Midway Sports & Entertainment offers everything from mini-golf to go karts, batting cages, driving range, EuroBungy, rock climbing, bumper cars and water activities. Great location for corporate events, team building and parties.

Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Recreation Center
The Taylor Recreation Center offers a full array of services, from workout programs and racquetball courts to cardio room, weight room and indoor walking track. Child care services offered. Also home to the Taylor Business Center (cooperative business space available for lease) and Taylor Dance.

Petting Farm
The Heritage Park Petting Farm offers a hands-on experience for the young or just young at heart in a unique park atmosphere. A knowledgeable staff is on hand to assist and make your visit a memorable one. Children wearing proper footwear (gym shoes or boots) can walk around the stalls of the goats, sheep, and piglets. The farm is open year round, and each season brings interesting changes. The barn is heated to provide warmth for our guests and animals.

Jeffrey Lamarand Splash Field
The Jeffrey Lamarand Splash Field is a unique children's splash park in Heritage Park. Best for the under-12 crowd. Modeled after the City of Taylor's long tradition in Little League baseball, it features water-squirting bases, bats, balls and even a scoreboard.

Northwest Park Pool
Northwest Pool is the City of Taylor's only outdoor pool and it open in warm-weather months. It is located off Van Born Road, between Beech Daly and John Daly.

Heritage Park
Heritage Park is one of the largest municipally owned and operated parks in the region. Located in at the corner of Pardee and Northline, is includes various athletic fields, Sheridan pavilions, walking/running trail, Coan Lake Historic Area, Petting Farm, Conservatory & Botanical Gardens and much more.

Veterans Museum
The Taylor Veterans Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Admission is free. For more information, call 734-374-8775 and leave a message. The museum features beautiful display cabinets that currently house 11 veterans’ personal collections - which are on loan or have been donated to the museum - including a Medal of Honor Recipient. In the atrium of City Hall, a display case houses memorabilia honoring U.S. Rep. John D. Dingell, 2nd Lt. U.S. Army. Former Congressman Dingell is currently the longest-serving member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Prechter Educational & Performing Arts Center
The 78,000 square foot Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center features an 812 seat theatre, state of the art technical amenities, studio/rehearsal space, a gallery for the visual arts and up to 14 classroom/seminar rooms, all on the beautiful, wooded, 97-acre Downriver Campus. WCCCD’s mission is to empower individuals, businesses and communities to achieve their goals through excellent accessible services, culturally diverse experiences and globally competitive higher education and career advancement programs.
