Dentistry from the Heart

Shwedel Dental hosts its "Dentistry From The Heart" each fall, providing the first 125 people with free dental care.

A team of dental professionals at Shwedel Dental will provide patients with a free filling, extraction or cleaning. There will also be several oral surgeons, hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals donating their time and resources, in order to provide free dental care to as many residents in need as possible. This DFTH event donates thousands of dollars in free dental care and provide much needed relief to people in need in the community.

Anyone is invited to the annual event at 25650 Goddard Road, Suite A, Taylor, MI 48180. This event is for adults 18 and up. Patients are asked to arrive early as the event is a first-come, first-serve basis. Event registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and patients will be seen through 5 p.m. that day. Patients are also encouraged dress appropriate for the weather and bring chairs, water, snacks, etc.

2016 was the eighth annual event for Dr. Steve Shwedel and his team of volunteers. Previous events have brought relief to over 840 people and over $232,000 in free dental care to the Taylor community  For more information, including exacts dates and times, call (313) 769-3459 or click here
